| Description | Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit HGV 2/Class 2/Cat C Drivers to work on a temp to perm basis for our client in Leeds, HD6. Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday with weekend availability. Salary: On agency = £12.90 p/h plus £1.56 p/h holiday pay = £14.46 p/h 45 minute break deducted Minimum 8hrs paid per day When permanent, minimum 45hrs per week contract, 20 days holiday + bank holdays and driver CPC paid for The Role: 12 deliveries + collections 80% of deliveries will be unloaded by forklift. Remainder will be unloaded by a driver with forklift. Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Training will be provided on RoRo. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 2/Cat C licence. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations. INTERESTED?
