| Description | Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced HGV 1 DRIVERS for our client who has 3 sites in Leeds and Bradford. Hours of work: Nights 1500hr to 2030hr starts 45 min break deduction Monday to Friday shifts Salary: £16.77ph plus £2.03ph for holiday pay. Total inclusive of holiday pay is £18.80ph Based on an 40 hour work week on nights: £752 inclusive of holiday pay. The Role: General trunking work Clean Trunking Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Flexibility for start times required Be able to work on own initiative Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE licence. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. A minimum of 24 months' experience as a Class 1 driver No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
