| Description | Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced HGV 1 DRIVERS for our client based in Bradford. Our Client operators 7 days a week so driver can let us know what day or day they are available and we will let the client know. Hours of work: Days 0500 - 0700hr starts Nights 1700 onwards starts 45 min break deduction Client operators 7 day per week Overnights can be available - they maybe opportunity for regular Thursday to Sunday with overnights. Salary: Monday to Friday £17.45 on Days inclusive of holiday pay Monday to Friday £18.45 on Nights inclusive of holiday pay Saturday day £19.45 inclusive of holiday pay Sunday day £22.45 inclusive of holiday pay The Role: General trunking work / deliveries Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Flexibility for start times required Be able to work on own initiative Must hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat CE licence. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. A minimum of 24 months' experience as a Class 1 driver No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
