Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit temporary HGV 2/Class C drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Wetherby, LS23. Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday Start times will be around 05.00hr – 0600hr 42hrs minimum pay per week ( Job and knock ) Salary: Temporary £15.00ph plus £1.82ph for holiday pay ( Total inclusive of holiday pay £16.82 ) The Role: Starting ASAP: Full induction and assessment prior to start date Ongoing work, potentially leading to a permanent job if successful Delivery of alcohol in HGV 2/Class C vehicle with a drivers assistant Delivering to businesses All handball and heavy lifting Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence for 1 year plus Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations. INTERESTED?
