| Description | Drivers Direct Recruitment In Leeds are looking to recruit HGV 2/Class 2/Cat C drivers to work for various clients in Leeds and surrounding areas: Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday Start times will be around 05.00hr – 0830hr Salary: £13.80ph to £15.00ph plus holiday pay (Total = £15.47 to £16.82) The Role: can include the following but you are not obliged to accept all work offered....you can pick and choose the work to suit you! Days HGV 2/Class 2/Cat C some Multi drop Some general haulage. Handball may be required on some jobs, drivers assistants may be supplied. Some deliveries may involve PPT. Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must have held a valid HGV 2/Class 2/Cat C licence for at least 2 years. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record.
