| Description | Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced HGV 1 TIPPER DRIVERS for a variety of shifts either ongoing days or nights, weekends and temp to perm. Hours of work: Days/Nights All shifts weekdays, weekends, days and nights Varying start times depending on client needs Salary: £16.06 p/h - £19.63 p/h PLUS holiday pay taking this up to between £18.00 p/h and £22.00 p/h depending on shift worked. Minimum pay 8 hours per shift The Role: Tipper work, ship to shed - moving product from vessel to storage. Also shed to customer, delivering product to local companies. Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all deliveries are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To work on site and deliver to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Be able to work on own initiative. Must ideally have previous class 1 tipper experience, but class 2 tipper experience with additional class 1 driving experience also accepted Must have held a valid HGV1 / Cat CE licence for 2 years minimum, with at least 60 days driving experience in the last 6 months. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations. INTERESTED?
